I collected some Cercis canadensis seed that was still hanging from neighborhood tree this Spring. After putting in hot water for about 24 hours and planting, I got about 20% seed germination. I'm looking forward to watching the seedlings grow up ! They are indeed a beautiful indicator of Spring's arrival and warmer days ahead!
